Pins Must Be Inside Your Project Country
When you drop a pin — by long-pressing the map, entering raw coordinates in the chat bar, choosing a place from search, analyzing a listing, or dragging an existing marker — the point must fall inside your project's assigned country. If it doesn't, Zeus.ai blocks the pin and shows a toast instead of placing it:
- Wrong country — for example, "Pin outside project country: This location is in Canada, but this project covers United States (US)…" The pin is not created.
- Unresolvable point — dropping a pin in open water or an unmapped, remote area that doesn't resolve to a street address is also blocked ("Can't drop a pin here…").
This keeps demographics, mobile data, and Site Sonar from being run against a location outside the project's country. Navigating the map to a city or region in another country is still fine — only placing an analyzable pin there is restricted. (For US projects, only the 50 states and DC are allowed; US territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam are treated as a different country.)
