MCP FAQ & Troubleshooting Coming Soon
Coming Soon
The SiteZeus MCP connection is not yet available. This section previews what the feature will do and how setup will work, so you can be ready on day one. Details (including the server address) may change before launch.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will the MCP connection be available?
The connection is in final testing. This page will be updated when it launches. If you'd like to be notified or are interested in early access, contact your account manager or reach out through support chat.
Can I try to connect today?
Not yet. The server address shown in Setting Up the Connection is not publicly reachable before launch, so setup attempts will fail with a connection error. That's expected, and nothing is wrong with your tool or account.
Does this replace the Zeus.ai chat in the app?
No. The built-in chat assistant remains the richest way to work with your data, complete with maps, reports, and visual results. The MCP connection extends SiteZeus to the AI tools you use outside the app.
Is there an extra cost?
Pricing and availability details will be announced at launch. Talk to your account manager if you have questions.
What AI tools will work?
Anything that supports remote MCP servers, including Claude (web/desktop), Claude Code, and Cursor. See Setting Up the Connection.
Can my assistant change my SiteZeus data?
No. The connection is read-only at launch. See Security & Data Access.
Troubleshooting (at launch)
Once the connection is live, these are the checks we recommend for common issues:
Connection fails or times out
- Confirm the server address matches the one on the setup page exactly.
- Check that your network or VPN allows access to
*.sitezeus.com. - Remove and re-add the server, then retry.
Sign-in window doesn't open, or sign-in fails
- Check for a blocked pop-up in your browser.
- Sign in to the SiteZeus app first to confirm your account works, then retry.
- If your company uses single sign-on, complete any prompts from your identity provider.
Assistant can't see a project or site
- The connection only sees what your account can see. Confirm you can open the project in the SiteZeus app.
- Ask your SiteZeus administrator to check your project access.
How to disconnect and reconnect
Remove the SiteZeus server in your AI tool (for example, claude mcp remove sitezeus in Claude Code), then follow the setup steps again. Reconnecting requires a fresh sign-in.
